Back at the ranch…Fear the Walking Dead continued to provide some interesting development this past installment. The links between Jeremiah and Nick, Troy and Maddie’s power struggle and Jake and Alicia’s coping with the new world were very well crafted. The stuff with Strand could have been left out, but hey, all in all, another great one and a good set up for next week.

Don’t forget we will be taping a second podcast for PREACHER to be aired, hopefully by end of day friday for your weekend listening pleasure. We will see. Kim is volunteering to do all production, so I’m preemptively blaming her, though she is brave to do it.

Please drop us a line at fearmepodcast@gmail.com, find us on twitter @fearmepodcast or send us a note on Facebook. www.facebook.com/fearmepodcast. This week will also mark the start of Preacher. This will mark the first time we will be doing 2 podcasts a week. Wish us luck. Have a great end of the week!

¿Qué? Daniel is back and with one hell of a nasty leg. Even the walkers don’t want it. In this episode we get the backstory on how Daniel made it out of the burning ranch last season and is saved by his guardian angel, Efrain. Not only that, we also get a few more tidbits of Daniel’s past as a well known political vigilante in El Salvador.

What a great episode and as we’ve stated before, they really seem to have hit their stride in this season with Fear the Walking Dead. Thanks for all of the comments and support. Great Episode of Fear the Walking Dead #FearTWD this last sunday…actually surprisingly great. This may be the first season where they are going to hit their stride and really make this show its own thing. We are very excited, except for the fact we have no Kim this episode. That isn’t completely accurate, as she was able to send us her insight via dropbox that we share after the break. Speaking of sharing, Scot shares some screwed up theories on Madison you are going to love.

As always, thanks for the support and please contact us with all of your thoughts. Kim’s back next week, so tell her how much you missed her. She’s fragile. Love you all and have a great rest of the week.

It’s back and with a vengeance. What an intense couple of episodes to start out season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead. In the first episode we find the outcome of the firefight we were left with last season with all of our folks now being held in some sort of military base, completely helpless. Come to find, this isn’t the military, nor a base, but the sick experiment of our new found friend Troy. He likes to make dead things.

Once everyone is friends again, we take a little trip to Troy’s ranch to meet his dad. This looks to be a not so safe place for our group. Oh and Travis fell out of a helicopter. This was really entertaining and we hope they keep up the pace in the episodes to come.

068: Horror Movie Challenge (Horror1)

Download Podcast

So, with the hiatus on all the shows normally covered, Kim, Scot & Stew decided to do something a bit different. Each of us picked a horror movie that we would all watch and and discuss in this here podcast. Kim chose Train to Busan, a Korean film released last year about, hey guess what, a zombie apocalypse. Scot chose Quarantine, released in 2008 about a reporter shadowing firefighters and getting held in an apartment building by the CDC because of an outbreak. Finally Stewart chose Hostel, about 3 guys traveling to a Slovak city to meet women, but then they get kidnapped for an underground torture ring. How nice.

We did have a lot of fun on this assignment and we hope you enjoy. 2 weeks until FearTWD is back, so hopefully everyone is getting excited. AMC has scheduled FearTWD and Preacher back to back when Preacher returns. We hope to cover both, so please join us for those. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming FearTWD or anything else you want to share. As always, Thanks!!!

Okay… so that was unexpected. Now everyone can breathe. There were a lot of people on edge about the season finale, and rightly so. Lots of build up all season long to the coming war. All the way until, oh wait the Junkyard Dogs are on the Saviors side to. Well isn’t that flipping great. Awesome episode with not as insane of a cliff hanger as last summer, but the war has begun. And thanks to a large tiger, our folks are still in it. Season 7 is over, but its good to see there is some exciting stuff to come next season.

Until then we will be covering Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher, possibly Outcast or Legion, but we’ll let you know on the website, thru Facebook and twitter. Make sure to follow us for any updates. Thanks for the support and please do keep the emails coming at fearmepodcast@gmail.com. Talk to you soon #RiseUp

The build up to the finale was a great one! We find our captured Sasha having a series of uncomfortable conversations with #Negan. Brainiac Eugene screws up her ‘suicide” attempt. We finally get thrown into the mind game of ‘You don’t have to be sorry’ Not sure how they’re going to wrap this up before the season ends, but you can be assured the end is just the beginning.

Thanks everyone, as always, for all the support and comments. Remember to continue to write us at fearmepodcast@gmail.com, like us on FB and catch us on twitter @fearmepodcast or use #FearMePod. Next week is going to be good!!!

In this weeks episode of The Walking Dead we break down the emotional barriers a bit with Rosita and Daryl in hopes of moving on to the task at hand and dealing with the Saviors. The suicide journey with Sasha and Rosita proves to be enough to finally get Rosita to open up a bit about her past, skills and why shes be such a be-atch. Daryl’s break down in front of Maggie humanizes him again and Jesus throws his little curve ball. Simon’s offer to Gregory could get the whole ball rolling in this lead up to war. Don’t forget the archer at the end.

What a great discussion this week! Can’t believe we’re 2 installments away from the season 7 end. We did have some technical difficulties this week, so we do want to apologize. Wicked storms knocked out our power half way through taping. That’s always fun. Hope you enjoy and please keep sending your feedback, opinions and reviews. Until Sunday… before I forget tweet us during the episode @fearmepodcast We’ll do our best to get responses back quickly. If not, blame Stewart.

I think it goes without saying, this was one of the best episodes of the season. The conflict between Morgan and Richard with their disagreement on the methodology of how to survive in this world was fantastic. The transformation of Morgan back from his almost false Zen outlook was a powerful one. Some great writing, acting and directing in this installment of The Walking Dead. We had a lot to discuss and on top of it all, tons of news and tons of listener input. Thank and please keep it coming! Write us at fearmepodcast@gmail.com or tweet to @FearMePodcast, #fearmepod

A little something for the ladies, well not totally, but this latest The Walking Dead was leaning hard toward the sensitive side of the audience. Still a great episode, though the introduction of the ghost Bambi was a bit questionable. There were some great walkers, the development of Fr Gabe is still continuing and Jadis of the J Yard Dogs got a few more words out. All in all, it may have been good to have a happy moment prior to the horror that may await in the next few episodes.

Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook, twitter and itunes. Drop us a line if you can. We love all the input and support and try to share many of the comments on air. Until next week…
